AKA-FA and Friends

During September and October, 2010 the AKA_WarDogs and Fallen Angels Virtual Fighter Squadrons conducted an online campaign using the IL-2 Sturmovik combat flight simulator, in honor of those brave pilots and soldiers who fought and died during the early days of WWII in Belgium, France and England. We were joined by members of other virtual fighter squadrons, who participated for the purposes of friendship, building camaraderie and to try and experience a small piece of the history of that famous event. Our campaign was comprised of ten missions flown by each group and on each side, Allied and Axis. Below are the statistics of the AKA_Wardogs and the others flying with us during both sides of the campaign. We dedicate our time in this endeavor to the memory and honor of those who gave their lives. May they never be forgotten!
